If you dropped by SSVP Shop last Sunday, you may have noticed a group of young, energetic and industrious volunteers, helping out.
Ten youths attend the Church of the Risen Christ and chose to serve with the SSVP Conference as part of the journey towards confirmation. The cheerful Youths were indeed a great help, neatening the racks, re-stocking the shelves and sorting the donations, alongside Vincentians from Risen Christ and the SSVP Shop volunteers.
In the past weeks, the Youths have also joined the Conference to pack and deliver rations to FINs. We hope that after their Confirmation, they will continue to support SSVP’s social mission and serve the Community.
